Aim: Eliminate transit damage.
Brief: A bathroom radiator company was experiencing transit damage to its hand-made towel radiators. They were dispatched to a wholesaler and then delivered direct to the customer to be fitted by their own plumbers. They found that when they unpacked the product at the customer’s property there was an unacceptable level of damage resulting in delays and frustration to the customer. The cost to the radiator company of returning the product, replacing and refitting was prohibitive.
Solution: By conducting our own drop tests we were able to understand why their existing packaging was failing and, by redesigning the pack using internal foam packaging, were able
to completely eliminate damage.
